Public is one of a chain of budget restaurants owned by the Grupo Andilana. Although the service can be a little non-descript, the food is above-average and excellent value.

The lunchtime set lunch comes in under €12, while eating a la carte won't break the bank either.

Mains include steak with Roquefort sauce, caramelised onions and mushrooms and spaghetti with garlic prawns.
