Casa Lucio

Casa Lucio

  • Review

Reknowned for its roasts and stews, Casa Lucio isn't as old as it might appear, having opened its doors in 1974, but the quality of its food has made it a Madrid classic.

The dishes to go for include the capón en pepitoria (chicken in an almond sauce), the Asturian fabada (Tuesdays) and the cocido madrileño (Wednesdays). It is not cheap, however, and expect to pay between €18 and €28 for a main course.
